Why this exists
The Garrison of God is a place for true believers in Christ to get ready for the fight that matters. Not the one on the news or in the comment section, but the one Scripture says is going on underneath it all, in the unseen.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.
Ephesians 6:12 (CSB)
A garrison is a post where soldiers are stationed, trained and resupplied. That’s what this is meant to be: somewhere to come back to. You’ll find honest writing on spiritual warfare, the gospel, and what’s happening in the world, all held up against the Word.
Who it’s for
Believers who belong to Christ and know they’re in a fight, whether they’ve walked with Him for forty years or forty days. Those who are tired of soft answers and want to stand firm, lead well and finish the race. Anyone else listening in is welcome too.
New to the fight:
Just came to Christ and wondering why everything got harder? You’re in the right place.
Long in the fight:
Walked with Him for years and need to be resupplied, refueled and encouraged.
No soft answers:
You want the Word straight, so you can stand firm, lead well and finish the race of a faithful servant.
Who writes it
The GArRiSON
You won’t find a name or a face here, and that’s on purpose. The goal is for you to see Christ, not the man typing. Every post is signed “The Garrison.” I’m not a pastor with a platform or an expert with letters after my name. I’m just another brother in the fight, writing what I’m learning as I go and testing all of it against Scripture.
Just another brother in the fight.
